Embellished heels, in my opinion, are on the rise and trending again after vintage styles have been dusted off and taken out of older fashionista closets. Like many other items of clothing and accessories, heels are also coming back with more personality and flare to compliment your outfit. Dolce & Gabbana, Renee Caovilla, and Roberto Cavalli are a few examples of the rise of these types of heels; where gemstones, flowers, and an assortment of nature motifs are adorning the feet and ankles.

Gianvito Rossi, Italian shoe designer and brand, are no strangers to this concept. In season spring/summer 2023, Gianvito Rossi released the 'Shanti' line, characterized by a colorful river stone concept. Thanks to influential tiktokers and instagrammers, this shoe took the internet by storm. Many variations of the Shanti heel is still available for purchase today, however the coveted and popular Shanti heel in 105mm? Almost nowhere to be found.

Many times shoes can be found on the second-hand market without fail, but in my experience of looking for the Shanti 105mm, it was near impossible to find the shoe at all. It's high demand and in-season aesthetic more than likely accounts for this.

Notice that every size is out of stock!
Desperate to find the shoe, and after coming back again and again to google, I found a very similar shoe on amazon.com by the brand Kluolandi. At the time of ordering, the price was $49.98. The brand offered a 5% coupon applied at checkout, so my final total with the discount and taxes applied came out to around $48.

They also come in black!

I couldn't wait to style these shoes -- and I wanted to use items that were already in my closet. I paired this More to Come white top from Revolve.com, and a skims bodycon mini dress that I multi-purposed and rolled up into a skirt. I liked how the feminine ruffles complimented the sexiness of the mini skirt. The maroon and white color scheme also matched a few of the jeweled rocks on the shoes themselves. Due to the variation of colors in the stones, the color combinations are endless, which is something I love about the shoe. Whether the colors are monochromatic or complimentary, I can't think of a color scheme these shoes wouldn't compliment.

Now, do the materials of this $50 dupe heel compare to Gianvito Rossi, who use 100% nappa leather in their composition? Absolutely not! The heels are made of a rubber outsole and synthetic coating, comparable to shoes from Shein or even Payless (back in the day). After a few wears, the gold coating is cracking from the shoe, which to me, is an indicator of its price. There is almost little to no padding, so the balls of your feet will not be supported. I would not recommend wearing these heels for prolonged periods of time. I like to call heels like this "dinner shoes" -- from the car to the table, sit down for the evening, and back. DASSIT. Or for instagram pictures, of course.

Something interesting about this shoe are the belt buckles that actually match the GR belt buckle found on the real shoe. Now, I do feel this creeps on replica territory, but because the materials do not match exactly, and even the stones are different colors and shades, I would not technically consider it one. I'll insert a picture of those details up close.
Overall, this style of shoe is beautiful, and I'm glad I was able to find something similar to the original so I can enjoy wearing it and pairing with my outfits.
Will you consider purchasing or wearing these shoes?
